I recently completed two TTCs in Agonda, Goa, but discovering Purnam Yoga Shala this year was a true revelation. The Shala is staffed exclusively by qualified Indian teachers with extensive experience, who opened my eyes to the depths of my asana and breath practices. Previously, my instructors were all Westerners, and the contrast was striking. The teachers at Purnam Yoga Shala are deeply committed to imparting ancient Indian yoga practices, complete with all the traditional tools. This was my first exposure to intensive practices with powerful Kriyas, and I was particularly impressed by their meticulous approach to alignment and adjustments. All the teachers are also fluent in English, enhancing the learning experience. I had thought this trip to Goa would be my last, but after my experience at Purnam Yoga Shala, I am eagerly planning to return with my family to deepen my practice. Une pratique qui se fait avec des pranayama et des mantras pendant les asanas. Cette combinaison m a emmené dans ma profondeur, où j ai pu accédé à des états de conscience encore inexplorés. L'accompagnement des professeurs a été juste remarquable du début à la fin. Je m y suis sentie accompagnée, soutenue , écoutée. Une ambiance très familiale. Le fait que ce soit une formation en petit groupe permet d avoir un accompagnement personnalisé et de qualité, autant sur la pratique qu en cours de philosophie et de méthodologie. I cannot praise this place enought its really amazing it change my life i came with no experience with yoga and i had no ide what was waiting for me i have learned so much from manoj ji he is an inspiration i learned more from him in 7 weeks then i have learned in my whole life you just need to come to the morning class and do the work and listen and you will get a new experience that you never had before even if you are an experienced yoga practitioner, i cannot thank the teachers enought at purnam. The 200 hour TTC is suitable for both beginners and experienced practitioners and it has been an insightful experience. Teachers have been generous with their time, knowledge and whatever else they have to offer. High integrity, complete program, and genuine consideration for the participants. Small group which is genius, nice food, close to the sea and kind staff. I found a pleasant mix between humor and serious work, mental stimuli and physical challenge. I was just roaming around in Agonda beach and I saw one flyer of Purnam Yoga school, so I decided to go next day. Since that, I was just stucked there for about 2 weeks morning and evening classes🤭 It was just lovely experience, really nice people and teachers morning and afternoon too. I felt like with family… There was only one problem, that the time was flying so fast… But I had wonderful experience and can only recommend. В марте 2024 мне посчастливилось оказаться на пляже Агонда, замечательное и вдохновляющее место! В поисках жилья, я обнаружила йога класс Purnam Yogashala и сразу поняла, что мне туда надо) Йога с шумом океана, очень крутые учителя, за 3 дня пребывания - сходила на йогу 4 раза! И в полном восторге, как физически очень зарядилась, так и духовно! Занятия мне дались даже с моим слабым Английским, за что отдельное спасибо учителям! Спасибо за невероятный опыт, будучи в России, дома, я очень часто вспоминаю, как здорово мне в этом классе было! И этими воспоминаниями заряжаюсь! I have practised with Menoj at Putram Yoga School in Agonda, Goa, for the past two seasons. After the first year on my return to the UK I told everyone - “Ah, NOW I know what yoga is.” Manoj’s teachings are profound; they sensitively deliver, to all abilities and ages, strong, powerful and empowering sessions which support practitioners to explore the internal and cellular self.
