Purnam Means Complete, wholeness and infinite. Purnam comes from Sanskrit word “purnam shanti mantra”

This chant is a Shanti mantra (peace invocation) and appears primarily in Isha Upanishad (Ishapanishad) or many times called Ishavasya Upanishad (one of the primeval Upanishad).

At Purnam yogashala, we run monthly 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training Courses and Yoga retreats with focus on holistic Yoga and multi style yoga to bring forward ancient wisdom for a modern age.

We are a modern Yoga Teacher Training School in Agonda, Goa, India that combines Western standards with ancient, traditional yoga practices and teaching methodology. Besides our monthly residential Yoga Teacher Training courses, we also offer comprehensive Online Yoga Teacher Training courses (Yoga Alliance USA, 200 Hours) that can be started at any time. As a qualified team of yoga instructors, we aim to provide the most professional, satisfying and grounding environment for yoga practise.

If one is looking for some quiet moments away from cities, Agonda beach is the place to be. This beach is special because you will find very few tourists, also since the beach is huge you will always find you private space on the beach.

About Founder 

Manoj’s teachings are profound; they sensitively deliver, to all abilities and ages, strong, powerful, and empowering sessions which support practitioners to explore the internal and cellular self. Manoj has a glorious sense of humor, intention, and an open heart. He is special, and his classes unique.

Manoj ji had post-graduate degree in Yogic Sciences and human conscious. Manoj ji also had post-graduate diploma in Yogic Sciences and ayurveda from Gurukul Kangri university, Haridwar and certified 500 hrs. teacher training (ERYT) from yoga alliance USA. Manoj teaches classes are a fine synthesis of Holistic Yoga, mantra chanting, dynamic breathing techniques, Prana Kriya, Kundalini Yoga. Manoj was initiated in the tradition of yoga by his guru and shishya tradition Rishikesh Himalayas.  In his classes at the yogashala, Manoj teaches elementary yoga practice, mass adjustment in a class setting, gives workshops on asana alignment and adjustment, and tunes his students into the “ancient yoga” – yoga of Compassion and Action. With 25 years of teaching experience, Yogi Manoj is a seasoned and dedicated holistic yoga teacher. His journey into yoga began decades ago, driven by a deep passion for fostering physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. Over the years, Yogi Manoj has honed his skills and knowledge, blending traditional yoga practices with modern holistic approaches to offer a comprehensive and transformative experience for his students.

Yogi Manoj’s teaching philosophy centers on the belief that yoga is not just a physical exercise but a path to inner peace and holistic health. He integrates various styles of yoga, including Hatha, kundalini, prana kriyas and Ashtanga yoga, along with meditation, pranayama, and mindfulness practices, to create a balanced and enriching practice for individuals of all levels.
