A friendly, transparent guide to our course fees, cancellation policy and community guidelines — so there are no surprises before your journey with us begins.

Welcome to Purnam Yogashala, nestled at Agonda Beach in South Goa. These Terms & Conditions are here to gently guide you through what to expect when you join one of our Yoga Teacher Training Courses (100 Hour or 200 Hour) or our Yoga Retreat programs. By submitting your application or making a payment, you're agreeing to these terms — and we always recommend giving this page a thorough read first.
Yoga, at its heart, asks us to embrace discipline with an open mind. The guidelines below are written in that same spirit — to keep things smooth, fair and respectful for every student, teacher and team member who becomes part of our Purnam family.
To hold your seat in any of our Teacher Training or Retreat programs, we request a registration/advance fee of EUR 450 at the time of application. The remaining balance can be settled comfortably through either of the following options:
Please note that any transaction or bank charges along the way are the applicant's responsibility. If you'd prefer to pay the balance in cash upon arrival, we'll simply ask you to confirm your understanding of our cancellation policy at the time of application — just so we're on the same page from the start.
Once paid, the course fee and the EUR 450 registration fee are non-refundable. This helps us cover the cost of reserving your seat, your accommodation and your instructor's time well in advance of your arrival.
That said, we completely understand that life sometimes throws unexpected emergencies our way. If you're unable to join your booked course date, we're happy to carry your paid amount forward to a future batch — registration fee included — as long as:
If we receive less than a month's notice, or if a student is unable to join without informing us in advance, the paid course fee unfortunately cannot be carried forward, and a fresh registration would be needed to apply again in the future. We always encourage students to reach out as early as possible — we're glad to work things out together wherever we can.
It's very rare for us to change a confirmed course date, venue or itinerary — but every now and then, things beyond anyone's control come up, like natural events, health advisories, or local restrictions. In these rare situations, we reserve the right to make necessary adjustments to keep everyone safe and comfortable.
If we ever need to cancel a confirmed program from our side, we'll offer you either a full refund or the option to move to a different batch date — whichever works better for you. Do note that flight cancellations, visa costs or other travel arrangements made on your end would not be covered by us in such cases.
Our wonderful teaching team — Yogi Manoj Ji, Yogi Akshay, Yogi Sunil and Yogi Deepak Semwal — bring years of Yoga Alliance registered experience to every class. We always aim to keep your assigned teacher consistent throughout your batch, though occasionally, personal commitments or health reasons may call for a small change. In such cases, rest assured we'll always bring in another equally experienced instructor to guide you.
As a Yoga Alliance registered school (RYS 200), we're required to keep accurate attendance records to issue your certificate, so full participation in scheduled sessions really does matter. If illness or injury keeps you away for a stretch, we may ask you to make up some study hours, which could shift your certificate timeline slightly.
If you're dealing with mild discomfort, we'd still love for you to join and simply observe the class rather than miss it altogether — you'd be surprised how much you can absorb just by watching and listening.
We kindly request everyone to arrive at the practice hall about 10 minutes early, and if you do happen to run late, please wait for a quiet moment to enter so the class isn't disturbed.
Our Teacher Training Courses are wonderfully rewarding, but they are also physically and mentally engaging. We gently encourage you to check in with your doctor before applying, especially if you have an existing injury, are recovering from surgery, are pregnant (outside of a dedicated prenatal program), or are managing a medical or psychological condition.
Please do let our teaching team know in advance about any health considerations so we can adapt your experience thoughtfully. Throughout your training, we'll always encourage you to listen to your body, speak up if something doesn't feel right, and lean on us for support — we're never more than a conversation away.
While we care deeply about your wellbeing during your time with us, Purnam Yogashala and our team are not able to take responsibility for injuries, illness or medical/psychological conditions that may arise before, during or after your course. We'll ask every participant to sign a simple liability form on arrival, confirming they feel ready — physically and mentally — for the training ahead.
We also can't be held responsible for delays or losses caused by things genuinely outside our control, like natural events, civil disruptions or transport closures. We'd gently ask everyone to keep an eye on their personal belongings throughout their stay.
Rooms included in your package — whether Single/Private or Double/Couple — are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis as per your application. If our on-campus rooms happen to be full, we'll arrange a comfortable stay nearby, just a short walk from the school.
We always do our best to honour specific preferences, though we can't guarantee every request, and we'd appreciate it if room changes are requested early since we plan accommodation in advance for everyone's comfort.
To receive your Yoga Teacher Training certificate, we'll simply look for:
We're always rooting for every student to succeed, and we'll work with you to meet these simple milestones.
We ask every student to bring a spirit of warmth and respect to their time with us, both on and off campus. Our community thrives on kindness, so we'd ask everyone to be mindful towards fellow students, teachers, staff and the local culture and traditions of Goa.
In keeping with the sattvic, yogic lifestyle we practise here, alcohol, recreational drugs and tobacco are not permitted on the Purnam Yogashala campus. We believe this helps everyone get the most from their practice and stay aligned with the peaceful spirit of the school.
